Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Visit the sign-up page and choose whether you're joining as a Fan or a Creator. Complete the three-step registration: enter your details, verify your email with the OTP sent to you, then complete your profile setup.
What are the age requirements?
All users must be at least 18 years old to create an account or access content on SwitCity. We enforce age verification at signup and for access to adult content categories.
What's the difference between a Fan and a Creator account?
Fan accounts are designed for discovering and subscribing to creators, accessing exclusive content, and interacting through comments, likes, tips, and direct messages. Creator accounts include all fan capabilities plus tools to upload content, set pricing, manage subscriptions, and withdraw earnings.
Subscriptions & Payments
How do subscriptions work?
When you subscribe to a creator, you pay a monthly fee set by the creator. This unlocks access to all their exclusive content for that billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
What is Pay-Per-View (PPV)?
Some creators lock individual posts or videos behind a one-time price. You pay once to permanently unlock that specific piece of content, regardless of whether you hold a subscription.
What payment methods are accepted?
Payments are processed via Bani, supporting Nigerian bank transfers, debit/credit cards, and other local African payment methods.
Can I get a refund?
All purchases on SwitCity - including subscriptions, pay-per-view, and tips - are final and non-refundable unless there is a verified technical error on our part. Accounts banned for policy violations are not eligible for refunds.
For Creators
How do I set up payouts?
During onboarding, creators complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) step and connect a bank account for payouts. Earnings can be withdrawn on demand from the Earnings & Payouts section of your Creator Dashboard.
What content can I upload?
Creators can upload photos, videos (free, paid, or PPV), and 24-hour Stories. Content must comply with SwitCity's Content Monitor Policy. Explicit adult content is permitted in the designated NSFW category, subject to age verification requirements.
How do I manage my community?
From your dashboard, you can block fans, filter comment keywords, pin or delete comments, and review your fan list. You have full control over who engages with your content.
Account & Safety
How do I report a user or content?
You can report content or users directly from any post or profile using the report button. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. See our Complaints Policy for full details.
What happens if I violate the community guidelines?
SwitCity enforces a two-strike policy. A first violation results in a warning and content removal. A second violation results in permanent account suspension with no refunds on remaining subscriptions or purchases.
